Kathy Overman, RN, USA
Kathleen earned her diploma as Registered Nurse at St Vincent’s Hospital in New York, NY in 1970, a Bachelor of Arts degree at Hunter College in New York and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL.
Currently, Kathleen is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of New York where she has worked since 1995. She is responsible for caring for a variety of sick and premature newborns, including those with congenital heart disease pre- and post-operatively and infants on Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). Kathleen regularly precepts new nurses in caring for these patients. She has been a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor since 1993 and certified in High Risk Neonatal Nursing since 1995.
In addition, she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College.
